Heading home again. There's just nothing more we can do unless it happens again so we'll just head back in if those symptoms come back. Hopefully they never do.

Ongoing Confusion
All of Evie's labs, tests, cultures look great. According to them, she's perfectly fine, but all clinical assessments showed a little girl throwing up blood, on 6 liters of oxygen and working hard at breathing, and in abdominal pain. Those symptoms started to fade and she's doing pretty well this morning. We're all just baffled. … Continue reading Ongoing Confusion
Prayers for Answers
Ultrasound showed no intussusception. Chest xray actually looked improved from last week. We're going to put some barium through her gtube to see what happens. She's throwing up straight dark blood now, but fortunately resting in between vomits. Please pray for answers.
Ambulance Ride
On our way. She's very lethargic and her o2 needs are kinda all over the place.
Not Done
We are back in our local ER waiting for ambulance to the children's hospital. Evie started showing the same symptoms as last week (vomiting blood, lethargic, high o2 needs) this morning. Will update as we can.

If the pain keeps happening or lasts for more than an hour or two, then we'll bring … Continue reading Home
Confusion
We're still here in the hospital. Evie is having periods of being happy and playful, but also bouts of pain. Her stomach is now looking a bit swollen and she's very fussy and doesn't want to be touched. We're going to do another ultrasound here in a bit and see if there is an issue … Continue reading Confusion
Resolved
CT scan shows no intussusception, so they're going to assume it self resolved. We're going to try some food to see how she handles it. Everyone is pretty confused, but glad she didn't need surgery. We'll be here a while longer to monitor in case it reoccurs and get her back to normal feeds and … Continue reading Resolved
Waiting
They decided they want a CT scan first so it will be a few hours before we can do that. So tired.
Surgery
Surgery to investigate and fix the Intussusception is scheduled for noon central time. Please pray for minimal damage and an easy fix.
