We got home last night and Evie had a good night. We’re so grateful this recovery has been so smooth so far.
On our drive home yesterday, we passed through a town where one of Evie’s CHARGE siblings was in the hospital. We’ve been praying for him for awhile and he’s had a really rough time the past few months. It worked out that his mama was there and she I were able to hug and laugh and talk CHARGE.

He still needs lots of prayers and hopefully will get home soon. You can follow his story here.
I wrote way back here about our new CHARGE family and how much we’ve loved getting to know them. It’s been even more wonderful to move friendships from Facebook to the real world and get to actually meet some of them!
Over the summer we got to meet little Sierra, her twin sister, Lynette, and their mom, Stephanie, and the girls had a ton of fun (sorry I didn’t post this sooner!!!).

And on our trips to Cincinnati, we’ve gotten to see Connor and his parents.

There is something so wonderfully comforting and encouraging about meeting other families in the CHARGE community. They get it. They know. We can all relax just a bit more around each other. I am so proud to be a part of this family and can’t wait to meet more of you as the years go by! CHARGE on!
